The Classic

Not many whom i know like Korean Serial because the story is too slow for them. On the contrary, i like them for being slow, the reason being i enjoy and appreciate the emotional momentum that takes time to develop. Few years back i happened to watch a few in the TV which were dubbed in mandarin and find some Korean serial are actually far much better than Hong Kong and Taiwan. Though not really get addicted to it but always glad to have chance to watch some good one.
A friend recommended "The Classic" which he has been watching for 17 times with tears every time!(could be more now). I never watch any love story movie for second time, not even Titanic! Wow but he watched "The Classic" for so many times, it must be a very good one. So i turn to Joey, my female colleague, another super fan of Korean drama. She has huge collection and may have "The Classic". True enough, she does have it but in her hometown and she suggested to download from internet.
"It is not with me here now. You should watch, it is really nice one, download from Internet"
Never mind, too much hassle downloading serial.
"No, it is single"
Oh, i always thought it was a serial...

So, i go Youtube , type [the classic korean movie] and yes it is uploaded there. I've watched and i would also recommend to those haven't.

The Classic is about Love stories of 2 generations. Below shot shows the story of earlier generation. I like the guy for his naive way of starting the love story but eventually appear such a coward in his decision made later that i think lead to the tragedy.



Below are the shots of younger generation's story. The scene that touched me the most is after the girl told the guy about her mother's story, the guy was so moved and shed his tear that puzzle the girl. Later the girl was even in total state of shock when the guy take out the necklace that she read about in her mother's diary...

From there on, they clearly understand that their relationship isn't just a beautiful coincidence but a blessed destiny. No more fear but faithfully together, forever.

The last song play at the ending is very nice but totally have no idea about it.

P/S:
我今天又点了 part17/17 来看。我在想那段以往的故事怎么会在他们的爱情世界里产生如此的震撼效果呢。看似画蛇添足的故事，就算没有上一代的悲剧，他们也本来就很甜蜜的要开始一段属于他们自己的恋爱。

到底那震撼从那而来？我想是我低估了爱情。两人的爱情是很美的事没错，但它可以更伟大更震撼地造就两人以外的生命，就算是已经离开的生命。这种带有使命性质的爱似乎要比一般的爱情高贵一些些。。。　

他们相爱在先，明白在后，比明白后再相爱更能显现出那震撼我的感动。最后一段的呈现手法更是高明，在没有对白只有画面和音乐八分钟里，把如此重要的故事段落完整地交代明白。
