Patience

I know her since standard one. She was short and complaining that she cant read the blackboard, so i exchanged my seat with her. The seat was at the most left of the first row in the class, probably the worst seat in the class because one really cant read the blackboard due the the shine and reflection. Study become difficult and copying notes become an extra homework ever since.
Misses Wong was the most respected advance maths teacher in our class. One day, in the middle of lecture, she suddenly stopped writing and put down her book. I cant remember how she got into the topic but all the sudden i became the focus. She said to the class that she had noticed me for quite some time, and she got to tell the class especially the girls, that if looking for husband in future, look for someone like Chinghin (me) ! She knew that i cant read the blackboard well but still pay attention and try catching up with the notes but did not once annoyed. Sometimes she struggle to rub off the notes so quickly but just couldn't afford slow down. She said really admired me for my patience imagining i have to live with this for the rest of my form six. She's right, i was really a patient guy then.
Am i still? Should i still? Patience slow me down in many aspects. Maybe man shouldn't have too much of it.

Ha ha, i suspected too at one point in time, but she one day confessed to me that she has special feeling for my best friend. Three of us are good friends and rivals for the top 3 ranking in the class :P
